Summer Rhode Island Mansion Engagement Session

Have you ever been to any Rhode Island Mansions? They’re truly stunning with their gorgeous gardens, their stunning views, and their amazing architecture. On a sunny summer day, I couldn’t be happier to be photographing Amber and Jim for their engagement session.

With summer days bring summer heat! Despite the hot temperatures, Amber and Jim kept it cool and didn’t even break. sweat their entire shoot! These two love birds have been together for years now; I had the pleasure of photographing them this past fall for Christmas photos and was so excited when Amber told me Jim had proposed! Throughout the entire session, Amber would point out flowers or plants she loved or was curious about and Jim would take a photo. I asked, “Why are you taking photos of the plants/flowers? Are you researching them after?” He replied, “No. When Amber says she likes a certain flower or plant, I take a photo of it so I can find out what it is and plant it in our garden.” How sweet is that!
