Winter Engagement Session at Harkness Memorial State Park

It was an extremely chilly day as we prepared for a Winter Engagement Session at Harkness Memorial State Park. The sun was shining, but the warmth was definitely not there!

Patrycja and Danny have been together for quite some time now and have a beautiful daughter together. Even with it being the middle of February, they trusted my suggestion of making the drive down to Harkness Memorial State Park in Connecticut (about 1 hour away from where we live). When they received their sneak peek photos, they absolutely knew it was worth the drive.

If you’ve never been to Harkness, it’s unlike any other place I’ve seen. There’s a mansion, a beachfront, a field with overgrown grass, and an overall romantic feel to the park. It’s like we have 3 photoshoot locations in one! This is an excellent place for engagement photos, individual portraits, or even landscape photos.
