You’re engaged!
You’re engaged and ready to start wedding planning or maybe you’re gearing up to propose? Now’s the right time to reach out to me and discuss details about your vision. We’ll start getting to know each other and I’ll get an understanding of what you’re looking to have captured for your special day.
Ready to commit
After some discussion, you’re ready to move forward and decide to book me as your photographer (aww yeah!). We’ll celebrate and say “yay” then start planning your engagement session. Your engagement session is a time for us to get to know one another and a time for me to get to know you both as a couple, learning what you’re comfortable with and how you express your love. Details like hair, outfits, and locations will be suggested and we’ll pick whatever feels good to you.
feeling antsy + excited
Engagement session has wrapped up, gallery has been delivered and you’re counting down the days until the big day. We’ll keep in touch as your planning continues and about 2 months before your day, I’ll reach out to you to discuss day-of timeline and other key pieces of your wedding (special moments, family photos, and more). All the details will be finalized so it’s all smooth sailing when your day arrives!
a sense of relief + happiness
Your wedding has come and gone; man, that flew by fast! Perhaps you’re gearing up to head off to your honeymoon or simply happy to have some downtime to enjoy this newfound feeling of “newlyweds”. For me, the work is still ongoing. In the next 2 months following your wedding, I’ll be working on getting your images ready for delivery. A few sneak peek photos will be sent along and we can discuss if you have plans to print memories from this day or if you’d like to have an album to keep on your coffee table to re-live your day again and again.
gallery delivery + celebrations
The final step in the process is your final gallery delivery. It’s always bittersweet when this day comes because we’ve gotten to know one another throughout all the planning of your special day. The timeframe to receive this final gallery is around 2 months after your wedding. I hope you had an amazing experience and will continue to celebrate your love each year when it’s your anniversary!

I love meeting new people and finding common ground to make easy conversation. You’ll probably hear me talk about my dogs often and if you’re a dog person, I promise we’ll be gushing over our love of dogs together. I know there are different personality types on wedding days and there can sometimes be challenging family dynamics. I'm able to mesh into your family well and capture your moments effortlessly.

Although I’m an artist with a creative vision and know you’re trusting me with that expertise, I still want to hear all about YOUR vision. The moments you want to see documented, a special detail you want to highlight, or important people we absolutely need to photograph. The more I can learn about you and your vision, the more prepared I will be when it comes time to document your day. All the details you’ve invested into planning your day will be captured and remembered.
communication + Transparency
I pride myself on communication and transparency when it comes to all aspects of my business. I’m happy to explain why my pricing is the price that it is, what my process is like working with me, and any other aspects you might ask me. Don’t be offended when I ask, “What’s your budget?” This helps set the expectations for what I am able to provide at the budget you’re working with. If it seems like my pricing may be a bit out of your budget, I’d still love to hear from you and make it work!
